A popularDreamscreator has been recently posting their creations to Reddit, under the username /uDISARMEDPOST, with the latest project including photorealistic graphics that have fed into an incredible recreation ofHalo. This is only the latest inincredible photorealistic levels created inDreams, from dozens of players across the games as well as /uDISARMEDPOST’s previous lists of stellar creations.

This new creation, made as a response to thenewHalo Infinitegameplay footagereleased at the Xbox Games Showcase, drops players into a photorealistic forest with a UNSC assault rifle. Along with the weapon, a familiar looking hud also fills the screen and players may also recognize the arms that hold the iconic weapon as Master Chief, really bringing the experience together. Unfortunately, there don’t seem to be any enemies available to fight against just yet, but walking around as a Spartan in a lush, green environment with a Dualshock 4 is already about as surreal as playingDreamscan get.
Additionally, withDreamsrecently becoming VR compatible, this means thatHalocan now be played in VR, outside of the small, Oculus supportedHalo Recruit. For now, there isn’t much to do with the experience, although a number of viewers commenting on the original Reddit thread are hopeful that a playable level may be possible whenDreamscomes to PS5.
